Our 2027, Woven Strong is MITS’ strategic vision for the next phase of our journey. Guided by the belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to pursue their aspirations while remaining strong in culture and community, the strategy focuses on four key areas:
- growing opportunities for more students,
- enhancing living and learning programs,
- supporting successful pathways through Years 9–12 and beyond,
- and ensuring a sustainable future for MITS.
Central to the strategy is expanding our boarding capacity, creating new specialist learning spaces, and strengthening the facilities that support students to live, learn and thrive. Through this growth, MITS aims to increase student numbers by 50%, extending opportunities to more young people, families and communities while continuing to deliver culturally strong, sector-leading education and boarding programs.
