Congratulations to our Year 12 Graduates! Watch Adam and Ruby's story
WATCH NOWMITS is a transition school and boarding program for Indigenous students. Based on Wurundjeri Country in Richmond, our students come from remote and regional communities across the Top End of the NT and Victoria. Through MITS, our students go on to lead lives full of choice and opportunity.
We work with families from remote Northern Territory communities across Arnhem Land, the Tiwi Islands, the Victoria Daly Region and the Roper Gulf Region.
MITS is a specialist boarding school delivering a Year 7 program to 22 students each year. Our school is located inside the Richmond Football Club at Punt Road Oval and our boarding house is a short walk away on Richmond Hill.
We work with great Partner Schools across Independent, Government and Catholic sectors. We value Partner Schools which are culturally safe, provide for students with a range of learning needs, and are committed to empowering young Indigenous people and effecting reconciliation.
Our alumni aspire to complete school in Melbourne or closer to home, to pursue further tertiary or vocational studies, to gain the skills and experience that will enable them to have great jobs, and to become leaders for their families and communities.
MITS acknowledges and respects the traditional custodians of the land on which it is based, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, and pays respect to Elders past, present and emerging.
We are always keen to hear from prospective families, parents and students, interested supporters and new partners. To contact us, please complete the form below.
